Four years ago, when I was first elected to the Hesperia Recreation and Park District Board I told voters that I would fight to ensure our families had new parks and that our current parks would be made better.

As importantly, I pledged to ensure that YOUR TAX DOLLARS would be protected and never wasted.

 Since then, here are a few of things I’ve done to keep my promise to you:

• Built competition level soccer fields

• Initialized a grant to improve our existing parks to include a water play yard and skateboard park

• Civic Park utilization and improvements in all park facilities

·     All of this and more achieved within our budget.

With your help, I will continue to expand and support existing park projects, be an avid watchdog for all waste, fraud and abuse, and diligently work to ensure our budgets will continue to be responsible.
